2. Paris on Valentine’s Day
Who would not want to photograph under the Eiffel Tower, stroll along the Seine river or visit the Louvre? For something Paris is known as the city of love and an excellent place to walk while going from one place to another looking for the main monuments of this beautiful city. This city could not be left out of our list, and neither of your plans if you are looking to spend a romantic weekend with your partner.
Since it is a romantic getaway, we recommend you to visit the Museum of Eroticism in the Parisian red light district, where you can enjoy a tour of ancient and modern erotic art from around the world. In this case you would also travel with the Vueling company. The price of the round trip ticket costs 190 euros per person.

3. Cologne on Valentine’s Day
If your partner is passionate about chocolate, Colonia is a success. There is the Chocolate Museum, where you can learn the history of this sweet. Visiting its cathedral and its 160-meter tower, strolling through the Rheinpark and relaxing in its Roman-style baths are enough reasons for you to take a trip to the German city.
The outbound flight would leave on Friday, the 15th at 6:40 and the return at 6:45. In this way you can take almost two full days (Friday and Saturday) to visit and on Sunday you will arrive soon to Alicante to rest and regain strength after the trip. The price per person is 124 euros.

4. Rome on Valentine’s Day
Rome, known as the eternal city, is surrounded by art and beauty. It is the ideal place to spend the day of lovers and discover the magic that surrounds this city. Visiting the Colosseum, mentally reconstructing the Roman Forum, discovering Trastevere, being amazed by the Pantheon of Agrippa or simply walking the streets without marking a destination are our recommendations if you decide to travel to Rome.
If you go on Valentine’s Day you can not leave without leaving a padlock with your names on the walk along the Tiber River. It is typical to hook the padlock on the bridge and throw the keys to the water as a sign of eternal love. Another very common activity of a romantic getaway to Rome is to throw some coins in the Trevi Fountain and make a wish.
You can see Rome thoroughly in an end week. We propose to do it for 195 euros per person, flying on the way with Vueling on the 15th at 10:45 and returning to Alicante on the 17th at 7:20 with Ryanair.

5. Edinburgh on Valentine’s Day
The last trip that we propose to give you on Valentine’s Day and celebrate your love knowing a new city is Edinburgh. The Scottish capital is perfect for those who like architecture and stroll through parks and gardens. Visiting Edinburgh involves visiting its six essentials: the Castle, the Royal Mile, Saint Giles Cathedral, Canongate Tolbooth, Holyrood and Princess Street. If you are interested in this option, its cost is 151 euros flying both on the way to and from Ryanair.
